A sweet vintage pillowcase for a custom made pillowcase dress.
Kitty's are my favorite designs, and this is just the cutest all the way around. This little sweetie has been hand embroidered in soft but bright pretty colors of pink, yellow, blue, green, and brown. The little kittens eyelashes and whiskers are in white with tiny pastel pink noses and mouths. The kitten with the tipped head has one eye open that is green. They look as if they are just waking up or getting ready for a little nap in their sweet little basket. Just too too cute and beautifully done.
The hemline is hand tatted in a soft white lacy finish.
This was beautifully hand done with much care, and would be the perfect dress for some little girl.
This will tie at the shoulders with your choice of either blue, yellow, pink, or white satin ribbons matching the colors in the case.

The last photo shows the mate to this last available case, in its finished creation that now has a new life with a very special little girl. No matter how many I've made it's still amazes me how an old vintage pillowcase can become such a darling little girls dress.
Measure your child from the shoulder to where you want the hem to lie for your child's dress size length. If your measured length falls within the length of this case, we can create a beautiful dress for your little girl. Length determines the size.

These dresses were originally worn tea length (middle of leg calf), but any length is adorable. If purchasing our capri length pantaloons, knee length or below the knee is best for dress length.
A "grow with me dress" they are so versatile that they can be worn for 2 - 3 years or more. Once a dress, it can also be worn for a top as the child becomes taller. Wear with leggings, jeans, pantaloons, shorts, or even skirts, etc.
When she out grows the dress, pack it away for an heirloom to be passed down from generation to generation. They seem to never go out of style!
